Recycling alternative to the return request: The owner of the electrical appliance is obliged to co-operate in the proper recycling in the event of relinquishment of ownership instead of returning it. For this purpose, the old appliance can also be handed over to a collection centre that carries out disposal in accordance with the national Closed Substance Cycle and Waste Management Act.
